Day 1. Arrive Vancouver, Victoria.
Upon arrival at Vancouver’s airport, transfer to
a ferry for a scenic Georgia Strait cruise. Travel
to Victoria, the charming capital city of British
Columbia. This evening join your Tour Director
and fellow travellers for a Welcome Reception.
Two Night Stay: Victoria, Royal Scot Suite Hotel.
Day 2. Victoria Sightseeing. This morning
visit the world-famous Butchart Gardens
where you have ample time to explore the
wonderful floral displays that have been
delighting visitors for over 100 years. The rest
of the day is at leisure on Vancouver Island.

Day 3. Victoria, Vancouver. This morning
board the ferry and return to the mainland.
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Vancouver including

ROCKY MOUNTAINEER RAIL JOURNEY
Day 4. Rocky Mountaineer, Kamloops.
Early today board the Rocky Mountaineer.
Relax in the comfort of your RedLeaf coach as
you pass Fraser Valley and the towering peaks of
the Coast Mountains. Enter the Fraser Canyon,
see Hell’s Gate and follow the Thompson River
to historic Kamloops, gateway to the interior of
British Columbia. Tonight you can take in an optional dinner show if you wish (own expense).

Day 5. Rocky Mountaineer, Jasper.
Rejoining the Rocky Mountaineer, journey into
the mountains following the Thompson River.
View Pyramid Falls and the Alberta Icefield
before passing Mt Robson, arriving into
Jasper National Park in the afternoon.

Day 6. Icefields Parkway, Athabasca
Glacier, Banff. Journey along the Icefields
Parkway, one of the most scenic drives in
Canada. Stop at Athabasca Glacier for
a ride on an Ice Explorer and step out onto
the glacier.
Two Night Stay: Banff Park Lodge.
Includes: Breakfast & Dinner
Day 7. Banff Sightseeing. Ride the Banff
Gondola up the shoulder of Sulphur Mountain
for incredible views of the Canadian Rockies. The
rest of the day is free for you to explore. Perhaps
visit the famous The Fairmont Banff Springs, a
designated historical site and a landmark of the
Rockies. Or take a wilderness experience tour to
discover the local fauna and flora (own expense).

Day 8. Banff, Lake Louise. Enjoy the morning
at leisure in Banff then travel to Lake Louise, the
Jewel of the Rockies. Stop along the way at
Moraine Lake, weather permitting.

Day 9. Yoho National Park, Sun Peaks.
Travel through Yoho National Park over the
Kicking Horse Pass to Glacier and Mt Revelstoke
national parks. In the afternoon, arrive in the
village of Sun Peaks. The area is renowned for its
virgin forests, cool alpine meadows, mountain
lakes and crystal-clear streams.

Day 10. Whistler. Follow the tracks of the early
gold rush pioneers as you travel through the
rugged Cariboo region. Enter the Coast
Mountain Range for your stay in Whistler. Take
the opportunity this evening to experience one of
the many restaurants or bars in Whistler, one of
the villages hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Day 11. Vancouver. Travel the Sea to Sky
Highway, one of the most spectacular drives in
the world to Vancouver.

Day 12. Vancouver, Holland America Line
Cruise. Today, board your cruise ship and settle
in to your stateroom as you sail north. 12 Day

Day 13. Inside Passage. Enjoy a day at sea
as your ship wends its way past rocky headlands
and over the still blue waters of the Inside Passage.

Day 14. Juneau. Juneau was named after
gold prospector Joe Juneau and has been
Alaska’s capital since 1906. This afternoon
you’ll have the chance to experience a dog sled
ride over a glacier, sample salmon baked over a
fire or pan for gold (own expense).

Day 15. Skagway. At the northernmost point
of the Inside Passage, Skagway’s history as a
frontier town and gateway for the gold rush is
still evident. Enjoy free time discovering what
gold prospecting was like back then or take in
the wildlife (own expense).

Day 16. Glacier Bay. Wake up to the
breathtaking sight of Glacier Bay National Park
with its rivers of ice, and have your camera
poised to catch glaciers calving. Rangers will
come on board to explain the geological
wonders and point out the diverse wildlife.

Day 17. Ketchikan. Ketchikan is known as the
salmon capital of the world. Enjoy time at leisure
and maybe join a walking tour of the town
including a visit to the busy fishing harbour and
the historical red light district. Or immerse
yourself in the Tlingit Indian culture at
Saxman Native Village (own expense).

through the Inside Passage, watch the majestic
