Flex Plan pricing was developed so that we can offer the best possible price at the time of booking. Generally this means that the earlier you book, the better the price.These prices are calculated according to demand and are updated on a weekly basis. A firm price will therefore be quoted to you at the time of booking. N.B. prices could relate to any size of vehicle, so that the cheapest price will not necessarily relate to the smallest vehicle on a given date. Our online booking system will advise you of the best option and price for your needs. See below for what our prices include.

• Vehicle pick-up: between 13:00 and 16:00 and drop-off between 09:00 and 11:00 except for Early Bird Special Departure offer.

• Transfers to and from the rental station unless you have booked the Early Bird Departure Special Offer
• One way rental fees where required.
• Fuel, propane (for cooking/heating)
• Personal items - meals, laundry etc
• Additional kilometres payable at CA$ 0.28/km (2008) and CA$ 0.32k/m (2009).

Upgrade Package

• Mileage: 225kms (140 miles) allowance per day.
• Vehicle kit: pots, pans and cooking utensils etc.
• Personal kit: bedding, towels etc (1 kit per person booked)

Pre-payable Additional Mileage Blocks

• Purchase additional mileage blocks of 800km (500miles)
• Unlimited mileage packages

Early Bird Departure

This facility allows you to pick up your vehicle from 09.00 hours and to return it by 15.00 hours on day of departure, as well as including round trip transfers for your party to and from the vehicle depot to selected hotel locations. Prices inclusive of taxes are as follows:

Must be reserved & pre-paid at least 30 days in advance.

Minimum/Maximum Rental Period:
7 nights/30 nights

Driver Requirements:
Minimum age 21 years & each driver must present a valid UK drivers licence & passport. There are no extra driver supplements but all drivers must be shown on the rental agreement.

Security Deposit:
A refundable security deposit of CA$500 plus the credit card for payment of local charges & deposits is required when picking up your vehicle. Upon vehicle return, all extra charges are balanced against the security deposit & a credit will be issued to cover the refund. For security reasons, refunds are issued by credit or by a cheque mailed to your home address.

Vehicle Pick-up/Drop-off restrictions:
Vehicles may not be picked up or dropped off on Sundays (except where allowed through Early Bird Departure Special offer) or Canadian public holidays & may not be picked up on your day of arrival in Canada. We can arrange overnight accommodation for you.

Petrol/Propane for cooking & heating:
Your vehicle will contain at least 1/4 tank of petrol (gasoline) & adequate propane for appliance use. You may be charged a deposit for fuel included at departure, depending on local circumstances.

Child Restraint Seats:
Child restraint seats are compulsory in Canada for transfers & while en route. These are NOT however, available for hire locally.

Travel Restrictions:
Vehicles may only be used on bitumen roads & are not allowed on logging & other ‘non-public’ roads. Motorhomes are not permitted to use underground or underwater tunnels. Further restrictions apply to travel on certain highways & in the Yukon & Northwest Territories. Full details will be provided at vehicle pick up.
N.B. failure to comply with rental terms & conditions may invalidate your vehicle insurance.

Insurance:
Basic minimum statutory auto liability coverage is included in the rental rates on a secondary basis. All coverages are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Rental Contract.

Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI)
SLI provides excess liability coverage up to a total of $1,000,000 combined single limit of coverage per occurrence against claims made by third parties for bodily injury, death, and/or property damage caused by operation of the vehicle. Exclusions apply. A partial list is contained in
the Rental Contract. Please check at departure.

Damage to vehicle – your responsibility:
Provided Rental Contract conditions are met, your responsibility for damage, theft and vandalism to the vehicle is limited to $1000 per occurrence or incident.

Damage to vehicle – breach of terms & conditions of rental contract – your responsibility:
If the Rental Contract is breached or there is failure to secure a police report, or if you engage in prohibited uses, you are responsible for any and all loss of or damage to the vehicle from any cause, regardless of fault as well as all related expenses. No insurance coverages are applicable either in this instance and full vehicle damage/recovery cost is at your expense.

Trip reimbursement:
Travel Expenses incurred as a result of mechanical breakdown of 12 hours or longer up to $3,000 per tour.
