British Columbia’s capital city holds many of its own charms, and these are yours to discover on this short excursion to this charming colonial city. Victoria is said to be more English than England and your sightseeing tour through the city and environs will be able to illustrate this to even a skeptic’s satisfaction. The programme also includes a visit to Butchart Gardens. Ample time is available for independent exploration.

ITINERARY

Day 1 - ARRIVE VICTORIA

After arriving independently in Vancouver, transfer by coach and ferry to Victoria for a two-night stay. The rest of the day is at leisure to further explore Victoria. Overnight in Victoria.

Day 2 - VICTORIA

Today is your sightseeing tour of Victoria. Drive down the Saanich Peninsula, through a pastoral landscape dotted with farms, to the famous Butchart Gardens. Stroll through the many theme gardens and relish the spectacle of colours and fragrances. Following this serene experience, the coach returns to Victoria for a fully-narrated tour past stately homes, public gardens and historic landmarks. You will see the Parliament Buildings and explore the city centre, Chinatown, and visit the charming residential areas. A highlight is a stop at the Oak Bay Marina, home to a population of seals. Overnight in Victoria.

Day 3 - END OF PACKAGE

Today is your day of departure. Board a coach and ferry back to Vancouver. Upon arrival in Vancouver, transfer independently to the airport.
