Our chosen preferred vehicle rental partners are Alamo Rent a Car and National Rent a Car, together they create one of the largest car rental group companies in Northern America. Both their fleets feature General Motors’ vehicles such as the GM Geo Metro, Chevy Cavalier and many other cars shown on this page.

Rental Locations in Canada:

Alamo offers over 40 locations throughout Canada, covering mayor centres such as Halifax, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary , Edmonton and Vancouver as well as popular areas like Banff and Quebec City. National Rent a Car depots are located in more than 120 locations covering most areas of Canada . Full details of their locations are available on request from our reservations department.

Rental terms and conditions applicable to both companies are very similar except for one-way rentals where different charges may apply.

Alamo and National: Fully Inclusive package and Gold package Rates

Both packages include Unlimited Mileage, Collision Damage Waiver, $1 million Liability Cover , Sales and State Tax, Surcharges and Airport Fees. The Gold Upgrade package prices , available at a supplement of £25 per week and £5 per additional days also includes up to 4 drivers (25 years or over) and the first tank of fuel.

GPS Rentals - Rentals available ( all vehicle types ) at a supplement of £37 per week and £8 per additional days. .

One Way Rental Fees

On the routes shown below, we have negotiated with Alamo or National to provide complimentary one-way rentals. Various charges apply to other routes and will be provided on request. One way rentals must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. No one way rentals allowed when renting Economy cars.

VANCOUVER RENTAL SUPPLEMENT
Rentals commencing in Vancouver are subject to a £15 per week and £3 per extra day supplement

GOLD PACKAGE SUPPLEMENT
Gold package surcharge is £26 per week for vehicle groups ECAR to FCAR inclusive and £40 per week for vehicle groups LCAR to SFAR. Additional days are chargeable at £7 per extra day.

GPS RENTAL SUPPLEMENT
GPS package available (one GPS handset per vehicle) at a supplement of £40 per week and £9 per extra days

Note: Legislation or regulations or the cost of fuel may affect pricing or procedures. On all inclusive products, Alamo/National reserves the right , without notice, to (I) charge customers, at the time of rental or thereafter, for the amount of any additional or increased surcharges, fees, taxes or increased fuel costs incurred subsequent to entering into this agreement, or (II) increase clients tax, surcharge or fuel inclusive rates by an amount equivalent to the additional or increased tax, surcharge, or fuel cost subsequent to entering into this agreement.
